BROWN, Lisa - Putnam

(Browns Valley Items) -- Died on the 8th inst, Mrs. Liza BROWN. Mrs. Brown came from near Carpentersville here to spend a few months with her son, I. C. Brown and a short time after her arrival she was taken sick and has been confined to her bed since that time until Thursday night at 10 o'clock when death's icy hand was laid upon her. She was a zealous earnest Christian worker and was ready to meet death. She was one of Putnam County's oldest citizens her age being 85. Her remains were taken Sunday morning to the Methodist Episcopal Church where the funeral was conducted by Elder Darnell of Crawfordsville.    --- typed by kbz
